Dr. Amanda Rammel
Amanda is a native of Reno and studied here, at UNR, for two years, before completing her degree in dietetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
Dr. Tom Rammel
Originally from St. Marys, Ohio, attended Bowling Green State University before graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, Dr. Tom was an Executive Member of the Gonstead Studies Club. Dr. Tom strives to promote health and happiness to his patients and throughout the community. His goal is to improve the quality of life of each and every patient he encounters.
Dr. Chris Pavich
Dr. Chris Pavich was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, a true Tahoe native. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno, and graduated with a degree in health ecology. With a desire to apply his interest in the field of health science, he went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life West Chiropractic College in the San Francisco Bay Area, while being an executive member of the Gonstead Studies Club. Dr. Chris not only heals his patients through whole-body chiropractic methods, but also teaches patients how to help themselves toward a healthier lifestyle. Working together with his patients, Dr. Chris can make a notable difference in their quality of life.
Heather Polich was born in Santa Cruz, California, and her family moved to Reno when she was two years old. She has been with The Back Doctors since 2011, and has been managing the office for over three years. Heather’s duties also include taking x-rays and assisting the doctors with patients as a certified chiropractic assistant, since 2013. She has an immense passion for Gonstead Chiropractic, and she loves to educate people on their various health needs, and the incredible benefits of chiropractic. If you have a question or concern, Heather is more than happy to assist you. She loves taking care of every patient that comes through our door, and strives to give everyone the detailed attention they need. Her goal is to make everyone feel like a part of The Back Doctors Family. During her free time, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, laughing, learning new things, and reading.
Carly Tenhaeff was born and raised in Oregon and moved to Reno in 2010. She joined The Back Doctors Team in 2011 and received her Chiropractic Assistant Certificate in 2014. Carly is the friendly face that handles the public relations and marketing needs of the office. She dedicates time to the community from the planning of events and fundraisers to the creation of our advertising, educational events, seminars and materials. She is also the front desk manager and loves assisting patients during their office visits. Carly strives to educate our patients on Gonstead Chiropractic and its ability to promote wellness, reduce illness and help you live your life in optimal health. In her spare time, Carly enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and traveling.
Liz Mooney was born and raised in rural Nebraska. She attended Brigham Young University and then moved to the Reno-Sparks area with her husband in 1996. While raising her children she began studying medical billing and loved it. She started her own billing service in 2007 and joined The Back Doctors in 2011. Liz really enjoys systems, resolving issues, and balancing the books. She is an advocate for patients so that they get the care they deserve. In her spare time Liz enjoys backpacking, road biking, and traveling with her family. She currently has a daughter at BYU, a son at West Point Military Academy and three others in public school.
Rae Dukowitz was raised in Las Vegas and is a recent graduate from the University of Reno, Nevada where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Community health sciences with a minor in Addiction treatment services. She wants to attend Life West in the San Francisco Bay area to pursue her degree in chiropractic in the Fall semester of 2015. Currently, Rae is working for the Back Doctors to gain a larger understanding about the practice of chiropractic and the Gonstead technique. She hopes to become a great assistant in the meantime and an even greater chiropractor in the future. Rae is passionate about finding her emotional and spiritual wellness through outdoor activities such as snowboarding and hiking. She also enjoys the calming practice of yoga to find inner peace and hopes to help others find their own personal wellness through diet and exercise. Rae is a firm believer that the body should heal naturally without surgery or medications and believes chiropractic should be better well known.
